Church Musician Wanted at St. Luke's-Chester, VT

Salaried, part-time, approximately 8-10 hours per week

The Church Musician, one of the key leaders of the congregation and re- sponsible for everything musical in the life of the church, is a vital member of the church’s ministry staff, collaborat- ing directly and in coordination with the rector.

Being an Episcopal Church with a particular Hymnal, we also value contemporary music and instrumentation in addition to the traditional organ. We follow a Liturgical Calendar requiring that musical selections be appropriate for the given day.

We have a small, dedicated volunteer choir, a congregation that loves to sing, and a fine S. S. Hamill organ that was built for St. Luke's in 1870 and re- dedicated after much work in 2006.

To apply, please send a cover letter and your resume to David Willis: dwillis147@comcast.net or P.O. Box 318, Chester, VT 05143.
